This week I want to introduce you all to Hillary Campbell. We somehow crossed paths at Slamdance years ago (I don't remember how) and I followed her on instagram (as one does). What I didn't know at the time is that I was about to become a huge weird fan of her work. From her bio:"I am a cartoonist for The New Yorker, a comedian, dancer, dog lover and Law & Order enthusiast. My debut graphic memoir Murder Book is out now and you can stay tuned for upcoming book The Joy of Snacking. I’ve illustrated such books as Feminist Fight Club and Are You My Uber?"
Her work is funny, for sure. But it's also... real. And sometimes sad. And often relatable (for me, anyway). Instead of doing an interview, I just wanted to let her work speak for itself. Enjoy. -
Thank you for reading! New posts every Friday!
