Bomb cyclones, feeling weird, and Hugh Jackman

January is famously everyone’s least favorite month but it’s also my birthday month so… awkward!

Here’s a bunch of sketches that barely have anything to do with each other.

As the nonstop holiday travel comes to a close, I find myself wishing there were better napping options in coach.

Climate change is so real that I get to wear my favorite coat that absolutely doesn’t keep me warm in January. It’s unreal! Warm weather to the east, bomb cyclones to the west, how afraid are we?

As someone who is sort of constantly “feeling a little weird,” this weather brings me no exception!

A fun, chic update on my horrible psoriasis… the kenalog shots didn’t work but felt great going in. I told someone that I oddly enjoyed getting shots in my head and they were like, “One question… Do you like Cronenberg?” I squealed back, “YES!!!” So it all makes sense. This week I started a new medication for psoriasis and it’s gonna give me diarrhea for TWO WEEKS before I feel ok. I’ve told everyone. People on the streets. Neighbors. Dogs. I say, “pray for me!!!” If you have diarrhea problems, please don’t feel the need to keep it to yourself. We’re all human! We need support even when it comes to BMs! (BM: Bowel Movement, as they were referred to in my medical family growing up)

My boyfriend and I started singing our version of this song on New Years and just sort of couldn’t stop.

Here’s some WONDERFUL Seen Scenes from lately… mostly a theater edition!

I very genuinely could not tell if Hugh Jackman was breaking character on stage or if this was just a part of the scene. Either way he really couldn’t stop laughing, potentially forgot his line? I don’t know, but I loved it and of course The Music Man which closes on Broadway this week.
